Thoughts/Reflection
I have to say, I have visited the University of California: Santa Cruz and it is in a prime location. Covered in beautiful nature and greens, the campus is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for the adventurous/hiking type. I know that, if I go there, I will have fun. I am also there to learn though and must focus on academics as well. UCSC does not have creative writing which is slightly disappointing. They do have fine and studio arts, though and English/Literature which I could live with :). This school is definitely a safety school, which may come as a surprise. UCSC, along with the other UC schools holds a slightly prestigious name to it but the Santa Cruz branch is actually fairly relaxed as far as admissions go with a 57% acceptance rate and only a 3.5-3.74 average GPA. It is a VERY goos dafety school, though.
